Hill & Smith Holdings PLC ("Hill & Smith" or the "Company") announces that it 
has today received notification that on 22 June 2007 Mr C J Snowdon, being a 
person discharging managerial responsibilities ('PDMR') of Hill & Smith, 
purchased 1,348 ordinary shares in the Company at 370.8 pence per share.  The 
place of this transaction was the London Stock Exchange.

Following this purchase, Mr Snowdon is beneficially interested in 1,348 ordinary
shares in the Company.
