Transaction in Own Shares

Hill & Smith Holdings PLC announces that on the 19 December 2017 its Employee Benefit Trust ("EBT") purchased through its Broker, Investec, 84,225 ordinary shares of 25 pence each in the Company, at an average price of 1,326 pence per share. All of the purchased shares will be used to satisfy the vesting of shares under the Company's 2014 Long Term Incentive Plan.

Following the purchase, the EBT holds 89,970 ordinary shares, representing 0.11% of the total ordinary share capital of the Company.

The issued share capital as at today is 78,694,894 ordinary shares.
