The Joseph Ash Galvanizing Plant in Chesterfield have always maintained close ties with their community. Following on from their successful sponsorship off Hasland Ladies in previous years we were approached by the manager of Barton Town FC, Nathan Jarman. The team are ranked in the North East Counties Premier Division and were languishing in and around the bottom of the table prior to formation of a sponsorship deal with Joseph Ash Galvanizing. However, through hard work and determination, last year they not only finished in their highest ever position of seventh but they also won the prestigious Counties League Cup for the first time in their history. This year they have gotten off to one of their best ever starts and are currently second in the division with high hopes of promotion.
